Making A Gif!
My Process
For this secondary assignment I was tasked with creating a gif by taking photos of an item and/or figurine on rotation. The item I chose was my Jon Snow Funko Pop figurine. To start this assignment I took 13 photos using my Canon EOS Rebel T5. These were then uploaded to photoshop where I used the Timeline Panel in Photoshop to create animation frames. Each image took up 2 frames making the end product 26 fps.
Final Result
This is the finished result! I have only used the Timeline Panel once before so I am still getting used to it but I’m satisfied with what I got. In the end, there are definitely improvements to be made. For starters, I would remove the background of each photo taken. Then I would add more lighting (I used natural lighting from a window + ceiling lights). Finally, I would take more photos and play around with the software until I got a slightly smoother rotation.
